Library De-Stress Publication |
|
|
Happy Wednesday! How is midterms season treating you? For many of you, this might be your first experience with in-person exams, hosting study jams with new friends, or studying until 4 AM in Geisel's Overnight Study Commons. We encourage you to practice self-care this weekend with tips and resources shared below. Let us know what you think if you try any of them, or share how the Library can better support you. Our email (Learningspaces@ucsd.edu) is always open to your comments, questions, and suggestion.
Every other Wednesday, we will be sharing tips and activities to help you de-stress and center yourself, regardless of where you are studying from.
Publications, new and old, and upcoming activities are available on our webpage.

Host your own study jam by using study session videos of your favorite spots in the library. The videos utilize the Pomodoro Technique to help increase productivity by incorporating a good balance of focus time and breaks. View the full playlist of backgrounds on YouTube or Google Drive (you must be signed into G Drive with your AD login).
If it suits your study style, we recommend playing lo-fi music as well, such as playlists from LoFi Girl and Café Music BGMC, or check out what's playing on KSDT (UCSD's student-run radio).
