Check out the open reflection and meditation spaces in Geisel Rooms 621 and 628.
The Calm Cave and Zen Den are meant to be used as spaces to retreat from studying, relax, pause, breathe deeply, and clear your mind.
These spaces incorporates feedback from library users, campus partners, and the Library Student Advisory Council. The collection of books (Calm Cave only) and lounge furniture were selected to help you relax and reflect.

Figuratively Speaking, Art Exhibit |

The San Diego Watercolor Society proudly presents "Figuratively Speaking". The water-based media exhibition runs Aug 2 - Sept 12, 2026 at our Gallery in The Arts District Liberty Station. The free Opening Reception is Friday, Aug 7, 5-8 pm with over 95 ready-to-hang original paintings plus refreshments and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts. Gallery hours: Weds-Sun, 11am - 3pm. The paintings can also be viewed and purchased online. Please visit www.sdws.org for more information.
